His Excellency Bafétigué Ouattara is an expert in disarmament and international security issues and a specialist in international organizations. He is a graduate of the diplomatic cycle of the National School of Administration (ENA) of Côte d’Ivoire and holds a Master’s degree in Law (public career) from the University Alassane Ouattara of Bouaké. He was the Deputy Director in charge of international security issues at the Department of General and Humanitarian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Côte d’Ivoire from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, he was Counsellor to the Permanent Mission of Côte d’Ivoire to the United Nations in New York.
